GEORGE WASHINTON BISER
Aged 76 Years.
    Mr. George Washington Biser, a native of near Harmony, this valley, died at the home of his son, Mr. Harvey G. Biser, at Boonsboro, Washington county, at 8 o'clock last Saturday morning, aged 76 years. Mr. Biser was well known and as held in the highest esteem by all. He was an honorable, upright Christian gentleman. For the past two years he had been in failing health. For many years he lived near Keedysville and only recently went to live with his son in Boonsboro. He was engaged in farming nearly all of his life. His wife died about seven years ago. He was a member of the Reformed church at Boonsboro. Two sons survive, Harvey G., with whom he lived and C.C. Biser, of Waynesboro, Pa. One brother, Joshua Biser, of Eakles Mill, also survives. 
    The funeral took place from the Reformed church in Middletown, at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. E. E. Weaver, of Walkersville, officiating, assisted by Rev. Dr. Geo. A. Snyder, pastor of the church. The pallbearers were: Martin Nicodemus, John G. Naille, C.B. Tayler, Jacob Eavy, John H. Kepler, and A.M.V.B. Deaner. Internment in Reformed cemetery, adjoining the church. Wm. F. Bast. of Boonsboro, undertaker.
